Abstract

Sweetgreen, a food company founded in 2007, has carved out a distinct niche: fast-casual salads and bowls. Sweetgreen's growth in the past few years reflects a significant shift in consumer preferences towards food options that are not only convenient but also healthy, nutritious, and ethically sourced. This paper will explore the various dimensions that have shaped Sweetgreen's brand, from its competitive landscape and consumer segmentation to its multifaceted supply chain and sourcing strategy. It will conclude with several recommendations for Sweetgreens’ continued growth in the coming years.
