Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between music and art and their effect on human emotions, identifying what factors may influence the expression of different reactions to various visual and auditory stimuli. An experiment was conducted with a total of fifteen participants between the ages of thirteen and eighteen, with five in each of three groups: group A, group B, and the control group. Participants were tested for a period of one week, with an average of three to four students testing per day after school. Through a thematic analysis of participants’ responses to the different stimuli, the findings concluded that both music and art are capable of eliciting the exact same emotional responses in adolescent subjects.
